Interested in owning and running your own business?

Chamber Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the Original A Dash of Panache (tea parlor franchise, tea shop franchise, restaurant franchise)A Dash of Panache was designed to be franchised. We've spent several years (take a big breath) doing analysis and research, interviewing business owners, designing the concept, handbooks, menu systems, procedures, efficiency systems, wholesale vendor relationships, software systems, making mistakes, reporting systems, community integration techniques, and business strategies so you won't have to start from scratch.

Business Ownership (Franchising Opportunities, Franchise, Investment Opportunities)"There is no feeling comparable to walking into your own business and knowing that you are the boss and that how you run your business will make an important difference to your employees, your guests, and your community. It's also humbling to know that God has blessed you and entrusted you with something special." -Scott Alvord

Why Businesses Fail

Statistics vary but it is a fact that a HUGE majority (about 90%) of restaurant-type businesses fail within the first two years (and 95% within 4 years). Often FAILURE is a result of:

  • Having a love for the business but not knowing how to actually run a business (there is a huge difference).
  • Not having enough capital (money) to survive the first 2-4 years of heavy expenses.
  • Believing "If I build it, they will [magically] come." --this is SO NAIVE, yet extremely common (we know...we were there).
  • Lack of adequate marketing and not knowing how to track results.
  • Over marketing and inefficient marketing. If you're spending $500 to bring in $100 of business ($100 in revenue might be only $20 of profit), you just threw away $480 in a bad marketing choice.
  • Inadequate training for employees in a large variety of areas (procedures, purpose, equipment, customer service, up-selling techniques, etc.)
  • Inadequate planning long before the doors open (location, buy or lease, suppliers, hiring decisions and interview techniques, accounting techniques, POS (Point of Sale) systems, procedures, procedures, procedures (not necessarily ridged but planned out ahead of time).
  • Not integrating into the community and not knowing how to generate loyalty and value within the community.
  • Many, many, many other problems.

How Franchising Helps YOU

Buying a franchise like A Dash of Panache offers you a huge advantage because you're buying into an established business concept that has already gone through the mistakes and trials, has name recognition, has a high-ranking website, and has already standardized the MANY businesses processes necessary to successfully hit the ground running. ADOP was designed to be franchised so we've worked hard on "paint-by-number" business management and procedures. There is a lot of flexibility in areas that owners want to be flexible but the difficult and complicated processes are already developed and ready to use.

"If only we could set the clock back and start our business with the procedures and experience we have now...we would have shaven 3-4 years off the painful struggles we've gone through! And I thought that because I prayed about it and because I had an MBA and previous business experience, it would be a piece of cake!...oh boy was I wrong...the journey was anything but easy." -Scott

How It Works

If you're seriously interested, you'll need to contact Scott Alvord (see Contact Us). PLEASE do not waste his time unless you are pretty serious...please!

Basically, here is how it works:

You pay a basic Franchise Price to buy into the franchise. This gives you the right to open your very own A Dash of Panache business in your community. It will be YOUR business! It also gives you a LOT of handholding by us including numerous meetings and training sessions before during and after you open. Starting with a detailed Business Plan, we'll help you completely setup your business including licensing and setting up all of your operational procedures. We'll provide you ongoing support and help to keep you running smoothly. After the initial franchise price, the only other franchise-related expenses you'll have will be a small quarterly payment that is a very small fixed percentage of your business revenue. The better you do, the better we do so it's in our best interest to make you as successful as possible.

NOTE: If you are interested in franchising the original Downtown Roseville business, we might consider it, but we need to talk a lot first.

NOTE-NOTE: If you are looking to own the whole corporate business and not just a franchise branch...well...we again might consider it...let's talk.
